4.4 Evaluation on Unit 4 Record as a Whole

Throughout unit 4 Record, I have developed and gained skills. I have developed in drawing a storyboard for my music video which also allowed me to plan out my music video and know exactly what to film. I have improved on using a camera and shooting from different angles. I can now film long steady shots, close ups, medium shots and tracking shots and this is visible in our music video. I have also learnt how to use iMovie to a higher standard. I can now edit, cut and split a clip without errors and apply different transitions to ensure the film runs smoothly throughout. I edited the video and I think I did this well because from watching my music video, it all blends in and runs smoothly without any sharp stops in between. I have also learnt how to insert the mini DV tape without damaging it.
