4.1
As part of primary research, my partner, Moushomi Hanif, and I created a survey (surveymonkey.com) to find out what our audiences' likes and dislikes on music video's were. For secondary research, I did individual research on the history of record, music video's and storing records by searching relevant information on different websites as well as watching clips on YouTube.
The survey went well as we got a variety of answers which helped us broaden our choices on what to include in our music video. I also think that my individual research went well as it allowed me to learn about the history of our project and the nature of how it all began.
To improve 4.1, we could have requested for our target audience to give video recordings of sections of their favourite music video's to give us a better understanding on what they like most in music videos. This would also give us a clear picture on what to film and we would know that our audience will relate to it as they have suggested it.

During the planning process of the music video, I was responsible for designing second half of our storyboard, making production schedule, making the health and safety risk assessment sheet as well as carrying out these assessments, making the location contracts as well as job description sheets and for hiring volunteer actors by handing out contract sheets which will be returned to Moushomi and producing the call sheets for the actors. As we did not require for a budget, no one was responsible for this because all actors were required to dress bring in their own clothes and props were not being used.
Location contract was important as we used someone else's house in which to film so we had to produce a location contract sheet and ask permission from the owner. We also filmed in a shop which also required us to get permission so we had to ask the manager of the store and he signed the contract.
I think I did well in making the contracts because all the volunteers that I asked said they understood it without difficulties. I think that my half of the storyboard was good however more use of colours would be a good improvement and for the health and safety risk assessment, I could have described it in more detail and included images of the location.
4.3
We got a few people to watch the video (from our target audience age range) and give us feedback on the video.
Most said that the video was worth watching and was interesting as it involved a lot of family which was nice. They also mentioned that the editing was very good and most of the camera shots varied which made it more interesting. However some critical evaluation given was that the music did not suit the video and therefore they couldnt relate to it. Overall we asked each reviewer to rate our video and the majority gave us 4 out of 5. This shows that our video was quite successful.
